The Bursa Mehter Band participated Military Bands Festival in Malta between 10th-12th October, 2008. 5th Festival was eventualited in Ta´Qali City in Malta also some foreign bands participated from England, Spain, Estonia. The Ottoman Fleet encircled Malta in 1565 with The Mehter Band but they went flod and this year, 443 years later, The Mehter Band went to Malta again but this visitation was done for only peace. The Mehter Band put over from Maltese with their performances....
